These Optical Sorter for Frozen Fruits and Vegetables developed for the fruit and vegetable packing line to remove challenging foreign material such as plastics, wood and cardboards. The high detection efficiency ensures that products are safe, clean and yields are maximized.
Below are few examples of the E1A sorting possibilities:
Fruit sorting:
Berries
- Removes rotten & damaged pieces, discolouration, clumps, stalks, sticks, stones, small leaves & animals, packaging materials and wood.
- Sorts blackcurrant, cranberry & redcurrant.
- Removes sun burn cell grits from raspberry grits.
- Removes calyx, mouldy pieces & unripe pieces from whole raspberries.

Dried Fruit
- Removes discoloured raisins, stems, stalks and wood.
- Removes apple skins & apple seeds.

Vegetable sorting:
- Removes defects and foreign materials (FM) such as discolouration, extraneous vegetable matter; loose skin, attached stems/stalks, miss-cuts, loose leaves under & oversized pieces, typical packaging materials such as cardboard, plastic & wood.
- Precisely sorts beans, sliced or diced onions, mono and complex vegetable mixes containing high protein and potato.
- Removes surface head rots from a wide variety broccoli such as broccoli florets, stem chunks and cubes.
- Removes black, grey, green, yellow and still attached peels from carrots.
- Removes khaki, blond and pods from peas.
- Removes core diced or sliced red, green or yellow peppers.
