Established in 2002 as a manufacturer of specialized building materials, APK Industries (APKI) has since grown considerably within the European market, manufacturing access panels exclusively to territory exclusive distributors.

Working with the Department of Industry and Trade, the Export is Great Partnership and various British Consulate offices around the world, APKI is focussed on growth through export by identifying potential distributors for our extensive range of wall and ceiling access panels. APKI is also working closely with the KTN Partnership and other Government funded organizations to identify new and innovative products related to the building materials industry for APKI to manufacture and distribute to our existing customer base.

APKI range of economy and budget panels are available with a budget lock or coin lock. Manufactured with zinc plated steel and powder coated in RAL 9021 with a 20% gloss finish. Available with a beaded frame or picture frame. Individually packaged in a card box with plastic key (budget lock only) and fitting instructions. All are suitable for wall and ceiling applications.

APKI range of 1HR and 2 HR fire rated panels are available with a budget lock, tri-lock, 3-way lock or security lock. Manufactured with zinc plated steel and powder coated in RAL 9021 with a 20% gloss finish. Available with a beaded frame or picture frame (Gypsum board doors are only available with a beaded frame). Individually packaged in a card box with plastic key (budget lock only) or a steel key and fitting instructions. All are suitable for wall and ceiling applications and have cavities for easy install of insulation, sound board or moisture board.

APKI have developed a vast range of access panels as an OEM supplier to distributors in Europe, SE Asia, Middle East and South America. APKI have undertaken all design work, R&D, sampling and tooling costs. Panels have been produced in stainless steel, aluminium and plastic. Recessed doors for tiles, circular panels and custom-made panels have been designed, developed and produced; to comply with territory specific building regulations.

APKI have developed a range of steel insulated loft hatches. Drop down versions include protected insulation, suitable for use with loft ladders. An economy push-up version was developed to be aesthetically pleasing, yet functional and low cost, developed with larger house builders in mind. Air tight and insulated panels meet all regulations (part J / L) requirements and fire rated versions are suitable for loft access in communal hallways.
